The Berkeley Group’s Agency came to Professional SEO Agency with a property portal website and variety of development micro-sites which (following changes to their domains had limited online visibility and did not appear on natural search engine listings across a range of key phrases they wished to be synonymous with.

They were looking for a cost effective online strategy to convert the sites to a search compliant format that would in-turn deliver a better search profile, increase traffic and ultimately generate sales enquiries.

The Berkeley Group’s Agency were also interested in running optimized tactical PPC campaigns and exploring methods of increasing online brand awareness as well as improve link building via social media, content networks and online communities.

Professional SEO Agency and The Berkeley Group’s Agency subsequently agreed to the following goals/objectives:

At the start of our digital partnership with The Berkeley Group’s Agency, we undertook a complete SEO audit of the site and its offsite link profile. We worked in consultation with them to identify their commercial goals and how these manifested themselves through their various onsite goals. Subsequently, we looked at the level of reporting they required - with a view to transitioning over to a more cost effective reporting through Google Analytics.

Once this was understood we had a clear remit before agreeing on an approach which employed all of the various digital marketing channels. This approach combined SEO, PPC, analytics and social media strategies, the fundamentals of which were delivered in our SEO work.


Professional SEO Agency completed the initial SEO audit of both on-site and off-site elements to determine the areas where our activity would be best focused. This fed into the creation of a full onsite restructure programme which will be rolled out over the coming months to ensure that the site is fully optimized for SEO. An underlying social media monitoring service feeds into the ongoing strategy for the business as well as highlighting any opportunities for keyword and onsite development.

Once the on-site recommendations have been implemented off-site, SEO activity can be undertaken with confidence that any benefits will be efficiently maximized by this new streamlined website structure and conversion-focused naming convention.

Whilst this SEO activity is being rolled out, a comprehensive localized campaign for all developments is being rolled out to ensure that the Berkeley Group appears at the top of the search engine results when people are looking for luxury city properties to buy or invest in. This will soon be followed by an international campaign, supporting offline activity in events, shows and exhibitions. This will ensure that global investors who are looking at property, particularly in central London, are always engaged with the brand in all the target international areas when searching around this area of interest.
